KMK Slack Channels

Slack channels are how we can keep everyone organized and maximize collaboration!

Slack channels are managed by members of the leadership team, so if you have any questions about the channels you are in please reach out. In addition to channels, you have access to DM any member of the organization directly. 

Special Channels

kmk_all_team - Your one-stop shop for all internal/team questions and collaboration-- "Where do I find...?" "Who is responsible for...?" questions belong here! Support-related questions (a student having an issue) belong in the next channel.

kmk_Customer_Support - This channel is reserved for all support-related questions. This includes USA, Canada, Coaching, and Careers students. All questions will be answered publicly and anybody with the answer can chime in. This is where you can bring any student issues or concerns.

OD_ALL - The channel where all ODs can collaborate and chat.

Channel Prefixes

Channels are organized with prefixes so you can find and manage your groups easily. All channels begin with one of these prefixes:

  • KMK_

    • Any channel with general access by multiple groups and is not "departmental" specific.

  • ENG_

    • Reserved for anybody on the IT/Product Engineering team

  • OPS_

    • Operations Channels. (Finance, Marketing, Advertising, Events)

  • CAR_

    • Careers specific channels

  • CH_

    • Coaching channels

  • OD_

    • OD channels, reserved for content, medical, or project-based questions 

  • PRJ_

    • Project Channels.  These channels are short-lived and when the project is complete the channel is archived. 

Support

Eric Lackore is the Slack Administrator, so in the event you don't know who to contact about joining a channel you can reach out to him. However, free to post your question to the #kmk_all_team first for a quick response.
